i think you chose wisely as the galaxy you bought is on the snapdragon s4 processor. The Nexus tab won't have this until its next upcoming release, in May. it makes a huge difference in smooth operation, and the google android OS is written to better use the snapdragon (as i understand).

i have the original asus transformer (with keyboard dock), big fan of android and have used for all my phones/tabs (mostly due to lower pricing than apple). my wife recently got the latest ipad, honestly we're not feeling the apple love in comparing the two. they mostly run the same, but for a ridiculously huge price difference.

other reason i dig android is because you can hack ("root") the operating system and do some pretty cool things fairly easily. i'm not a computer programmer and i figured it out on forums. you can overclock your processor, pull bloatware off so it runs fast, use your phone as a wifi hotspot through your normal data use plan, do mods to get better battery life, completely customize the interface, all kinds of stuff. if you google "root X", where X is the name of your device, you're on to the rabbit hole...and you will waste tons of time learning the world of rooting your droid... but you do have to be a little careful and research the downsides before you do it...
