So I probably got an anemone to soon but he did good for a while (2 months) just moved a lot. Last couple days he's been hiding out in the back of the tank under rocks etc. He was fully inflated ... tonight I came home to find him deflated upside down not looking so good ... tried to find pictures of dying anemones but no such luck. Looks like his guts might be coming out a bit. He didn't smell bad when I took him out. Did a quick makeshift QT tank but it's just clean saltwater. I have a wave makers but does it need it? What else does QT need for a nem? I'm trying to get on tapatalk to post pi tyres but I think it's to late

Moving around a lot usually isn't good, could mean he's not happy for some reason. Being deflated isn't always a bad thing, but being unattached and upside down is really bad. I've only seen that when they are about to die.
How long has the tank been up, what are your water parameters, type of lighting, what else is in the tank? Is it a bubble tip, like a rose, a green, or a rainbow?
I'd be careful with that wave maker, if it were to get sucked up into it you'd have a real mess.....especially if it is free floating.
Give it the night and see what it's doing in the morning. Since it is isolated, and won't foul your display if he does not make it.

So tank is like 6mo old (I know a bit to soon for anemone) but I wanted one so got one without reading up on it. But water parameters are ok ex for for phosphates... I never tested for phosphates until recently.
Salinity is 1.024 currently, temp is 79, cal is 450, mag is 1200, oh is 8.2 phosphate is over 2 ... like 2.28

Well I'd say the high phosphates was the issue, and sadly removing him from the tank and putting him in fresh saltwater in an unestablished tank didnt help either. Nems need a well established and stable tank to survive. work on getting to that with your tank, and then try again.
I'd work on getting those phosphates under control first, and wait to put any other nems until the tank is well established. That may take a year or more for the tank to reach that point, so patience is key to success here. It is generally pretty noticable when a tank hits well established, as it will suddenly take off and things will start growing better. Wait for it and it will be great
