Time to clean out the fish equipment closet! The Auction is open to the public, vendors, members and non-members, are all welcome to participate. If you have any new or used gear, that is in working order, bring it to the event and lets get it sold for you!

Part of auction proceeds will be going to support Walt Smith and the www.ADEproject.org.

So clean out those closets and lets all join together to help a good cause that effects us all.
You will need to fill out an auction form to submit your items. See Official Rules here: http://marinecolorado.org/threads/official-masc-auction-rules.27014/

Just want to remind everyone that 50% of MASC's portion of the proceed from the auction will be going to help Walt Smith and the ADEproject.org. If you haven't heard of Walt Smith, you should read up, because he is largely responsible for making the coral trade possible, and sustainable. Its pioneering efforts like his, that has made it possible for all of us to have the corals we do. His current focus is more about saving the reef though, through conservation and restoration programs. And that is where we can help out. So bring your stuff, lets get it sold, and support a good cause while we are at it.

More about the ADEproject (https://www.adeproject.org/what-is-ade/)
ADE, or Aquaculture Development for the Environment, is a nonprofit organization registered in the US and Fiji that enables coral reef conservation and restoration projects within Fiji and around the world.

The focus of ADE is to fund the training and capacity building efforts for local community reef restoration projects and assist in developing ways for future projects to become self-sufficient.

The ADE program promotes sustainable management and conservation of global marine ecosystems, develops Aquaculture and Mariculture for the protection of the environment, and contributes to rural communities through training and economic support.

Hope some people have thought of some items to sell in the Auction. Great way to make some extra cash to spend on corals, or even on the drawing. Now's your chance to clear out your used/new gear, corals, livestock, tanks, ect... Whatever you want to put in, we will get it sold, make you some cash, and we can help out a good cause all at the same time.
MASC will be auctioning off a Brand new Kessil A360 tuna blue, a beautiful glass sump and likely several other great items.
