I still haven't decided yet if I am going to do it to be honest. From what I have read it 1-2 mg per gallon. But if I do the treatmeant I will confirm dose on here. Pretty much will wipe out snails and probably cant add them back for about 2 months.

If it was guaranteed to work I’d say do it. The problem is that it’s not a for sure cure.

so I think I know of something that you can use to get rid of your cloves. It's called F Aiptasia. I found this product and it actually kills aiptasia and no spreading them. The thing is people have been using it tog et rid of mushrooms and problem corals. I got a drop on a chalice and half the chalice died off. I'm pretty sure anything you get it on will die. It is safe for the aquarium though as long as you only get it on what you want dead. People kill ricordias, nuke palys and GSP with it so my not try it? Plus you can kill any aiptasia you have

I think he said he’s got a lot. That product says you need to cover each one like you’d do with kalk paste.

Ya it's a large area. Its not bothering any other corals. I just don't like it. My wife of coarse thinks oh it's pretty. Its growing on some of the glass and if I scrape it will definitely spread more. That was tipping point for her to say ok lets get rid of it.

well this is something you spread on, the product will work if you're willing to try it. Not sure why a "large area" would make you not want to try it.

You have to kalk them. Then again. Then again. Then again about five more times after you cannot see any more.

A harsh angelfish like a Queen can get 'em, but they also can get other stuff. This might work in a SPS-only tank and I have considered one to eat all of my Z&P but I like my clams too much to risk it. If you have no other fleshy stuff, then this could work. It would be my luck that I would get the 1 queen angel in 20 that is a good reef citizen.

The aiptasia killing stuff is usually kalk and lemon juice or a strong acid like diluted muratic. If the warning label does not want you to use too much at once, then it could be diluted muratic acid. If it is white and settled, then it is probably just kalk. Some of the kalk ones have some lemon juice or other mild acid in them.
