I started the tropical fish hobby in 1958 and had my first saltwater aquarium in 1962. Once had 16 aquariums in my home! I'm the original creator and owner of Catfish Charlie's in 1983 and it became the largest shop in Colorado (317 tanks with 60 being saltwater). Sold original Catfish Charlie's in May,1996. 2011 re-opened a much smaller shop, but closed the doors Sept. 2013 for health issues (kidney disease).
Started SCUBA diving in 1965 and traveled the world SCUBA diving. Taught SCUBA diving for about 30 years and did underwater search and rescue for Boulder County for many years.
I hike and Fly-fish as often as I can!
