Bulk DI resin

Does anybody purchase their their DI resin bulk? Checked out spectrapure and I can buy a bulk bag for $50. It says that will give me 6 cartridge refills where as right now I buy new cartridges from the lfs for about $32. Any thoughts or a better place to buy would be appreciated. I would be buying the res-mb-cl-5L if anyone checks out the site.

BRS or SpectraPure, the buckeye stuff doesn't last long IMO.

If I could get to my toolbox in my garage, I'd let you test out the resin I got from work. Cations and Anions are separate and non color changing but
when I was using RO/DI I used a dual reactor and it was still giving me zero TDS water at one year old.

I need the color changing, I am not smart enough and too lazy to check when the resin needs changing. However based on the fact it was good for a year I guess I could handle changing it annually. LMK if you ever make it to that toolbox.
