These have been on my rocks but only recently have I seen them on the glass. White spots...I know what cerith snails are

Do you by chance have nerite snails in your tank? Do you have to scrape them off the glass with a blade of some kind? My guess is that they are snail egg casings.

Yes there are quite a few nerites in the tank.

+1 to Nerite snail eggs. They won't hatch. I have had tons of them. I have heard they need brackish water to hatch.

Nerite snails leave those white egg casings all over. I have had them in a tank in the past and was constantly scraping them off of the glass.
