These have been on my rocks but only recently have I seen them on the glass. White spots...I know what cerith snails are :)

Do you by chance have nerite snails in your tank? Do you have to scrape them off the glass with a blade of some kind? My guess is that they are snail egg casings.

Yes there are quite a few nerites in the tank.

+1 to Nerite snail eggs. They won't hatch. I have had tons of them. I have heard they need brackish water to hatch.

Nerite snails leave those white egg casings all over. I have had them in a tank in the past and was constantly scraping them off of the glass.
