In the tank or decoration?

Found this bad boy in with a bunch of dry Rock I bought recently... I really can't decide if I should put it in the tank, or leave it out as a bookend or table decoration or... Anyone have any ideas? Will other coral attach to it and grow off it?

I had a piece of coral like that with zoas on it and the zoas spread out all over it and it looked pretty cool

I have a couple of HUGE pieces like that. I continually debated putting them in the tank. Long story short....decoration for me.

I've heard that encrusting montis won't encrust on coral skeletons; is that true? What about acros and millis?

I have a few huge ones, one in the sump and a couple more as decorations

Mine just got coraline all over it and small brittle stars live in it, looks really cool.
