Good evening friends! I was doing some routine maintenance when I came across this centipede like guy. I took him out of the tank as I am not sure what it is.
In the last year I have not seen this before, it is a little less than an inch long and it was hanging around my large clam.

Any ideas appreciated and if it is reef safe. Not to lead in the wrong direction, but I wondered if it was a bristle worm.

Thanks! View attachment 23949

Looks like a bristle worm, pretty much a scavenger. If they get too big I pull em out, otherwise nothing to worry about.

Yep bristle worm. Not the prettiest of inhabitants but they are good scavengers. Be careful when handling them though, their spines can sting
