When I was going though the zoa grow contest thread I noticed a big difference in alk numbers. Wondering what you guys consider a healthy/ optimal level. Mine is 148ppm so approximately 8.3 dkh which seems a bit low to me. I dose b-ionic 2 part and am just wondering if I should increase it..

Thanks for any input, sorry of this has been asked and answered in prior posts.

I found the following numbers from an average of Tank of the Month winners on Reef2Reef
Salinity 1.025 Calcium - 425 Magnesium - 1340 PH - 8.1 Alkalinity - 8.39

Of course everyone has their own preferences...

Thanks for sharing those numbers. Tank of the month tanks are a great barometer.
