Got a call at work this morning about a pop and a burning smell from my tank. Seems I forgot to turn off the valve from my 30 gallon brute trash can that tops off my sump via float. A floating basket with chaeto held the float down which caused the full 30 gallons to empty into my sump. This caused an overflow and flooded one of my power blocks to the LED. If it hadn't been on a power strip with circuit protection it could have been much worse. This is the extent of the damage
