Biocube

#1
I apologize in advance if this is not the appropriate posting area for this question, this is my first post on MASC. I was wondering if anyone new of a good deal on a Biocube 29, 14 or if there are any used Biocubes on sale by members or third parties. I live in Fort Collins so anything in the Northern Colorado area would be most convenient. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been in the FOWLR hobby for about a year now and would like to give reef keeping a try!

what is your budget? I usually see bc29 on craigslist for around $225, which means that you can always talk them down a bit if needed.

The only Biocube that I have found is at my LFS Great White Aquatics it is priced at $190.00 for the 14 gallon model, they do not have the 29 gallon Biocubes for sale. I think its I decent deal and don't mind giving the locals business. What do you guys think?

Oh I have seen some recently in the $225 range, must've all sold, bummer. But I would just keep looking on craigslist, but giving locals business is always nice to :)

Thanks Matt I would agree. I think I will go to my LFS in the next week to purchase the Biocube, the staff and owner of Great White Aquatics have been very helpful and the livestock is always very healthy looking!

I would hold out for a 29g. I have one and it got to small about 2 months after setting it up. Go as big as you can.

I have a 34g Red Sea Max that I will be selling. I need to move the starfish in it to a new tank and then it needs a good cleaning. However, i am in Colorado Springs.

I have a 29 biocube with CPR hang on protein skimmer and I added a 12 inch blue reefbrite led. Also just replace both fans and added new moonlights. With the upgrades I would sell for $250.

Has the Biocube been previously used?
