Hydra 52 non HD Settings

So I am looking at changing my settings on my Hydra 52's non HD and wanted to see what others are using. Currently I am just controlling them via my apex. Here is what I have it running now:

The LEDs are set to ramp from 7 am to 10:30 am then they peak out at 60% until 4pm and begin ramping down until 9pm. The lights are also supplemented with 2 t5's as well.

I have a pair but have yet to set them up. Need to make a diy hanging kit.

that's 14 hours of light. you might cut back some, I do my lights a total of 12 hours and 4 of those are ramping up/down and I've been told that was excessive by more seasoned hobbyist then me.

I would maybe consider 12 hours total with 4 hours of peak time.

I looked at that but since I do not have a director I can't download the settings.

What kind of programming options do you have when controlling via apex? I've never explored that.

You can do almost all the same as the director. You can control the time, spectrum %'s and the overall intensity %. The two biggest differences are the that with Apex there is no automatic acclimation option and you are not able to use the programs that AI has on their website.
