So my APEX is dumb again and once again has me thinking I should sell it all and go back to powerstrips timers and much simpler control methods. In the mean time I have an old Ranco that I obtained and am trying to set it up. The instructions I found online keep giving me an error message and I am worried that my chiller will never turn off. How do I set this thing up?

I had one for a long time, and don't recall it being hard to set up. It's just it works on whole degrees so turn on at 78, off at 77. I'd experiment with a light plugged in, and a few cups of water at hot and cold to ensure it functions as it should. Once you get it, it's set and forget (other than cleaning the temp probe as needed if coraline builds up).

I think I have it set correctly. At least I do to turn on the chiller which is what I’m using it for. Thanks guys.
