Once in awhile the tank gets cloudy and i noticed in the past there has been a cloudy fluid coming from the snails. Snail population has been on the rise. I noticed it happening again today and took a picture. Is this how they reproduce?

I’ve haven’t had to buy snails since I bought my first set when I started

That’s awesome. I’ve had trochus snails and micro brittle stars do that, especially right after I do a water change, but I’ve never noticed baby snails from it.

Thanks for the replies. I'm guessing the next step in the process is egg laying. I've tried searching online a bit for some scientific information about their reproduction, but mostly finding threads like this one where people are posting their experiences with captive breeding.
