Had to dismantle my aquascaping to get a decent shot. At night the tentacles or nemacysts extend out a lot more, but are inside a cave in the live rock making photographing difficult. Any ideas? I noticed it about 2 months ago and it has not moved since I found it.

Corynactis / strawberry anemone I think
Bingo! You will find them in back of the live rock as well as in your sump, good filter cleaner/feeder.

I've heard them called Ball Anemones. I have them and they have been good model citizens. Prefer shady areas.
