Wartskin frogfish help

So tonight I noticed my wff is having trouble breathing. It's very labored and rapid. Nothing has changed in the tank at all. What should I do ?!?! Could it be ich? How could I even tell? Anyone with decent experience pls help :)

Lol. No I've actually had this guy for a long time. I'm only guessing ich because my other tank has had it and occasionally I forget to wash my hands before I go tank to tank. I just can't think of much else that would cause labored rapid breathing. I just don't know what to look for for ich on a fish like this

will be tough to see on him, keep an eye on his gills I think that will be the best place to spot it

Look at the fins also. Any changes in temp? Did it eat something it shouldn't have? Check the parameters and get back to us with numbers.

My joker zoanthids squirt palytoxin into the water whenever they are touched. He may have got poisoned moving around. Just a thought.

It has to be something like that. Unfortunately all I can really do Is wait and see. I believe if I start copper treatment in a guess I will most likely make things much worse. I'll do a water change in the morning.

So I have him in a qt/hospital tank now. I'm running half the recommended dose of copper just because I've read anglers have a tough tie with it. I'm still just guessing it's ich though. I'm really sort of at a loss....... He breaths really heavily that is the only symptom of what he has.
