I have little clumps of this in my sump. What is it? If it is a pest how should I go about getting rid of it? 20211212_220516.jpg

Sponges, they are harmless filter feeders and are often a sign that your system is healthy. They will come and go depending on the amount of food there is in your water for them to eat. They are good guys.

Yep, pineapple sponges to be specific. They will be all over the tank in time, especially in dark areas with good flow, like the sump or overflow.
