White stringy poop

My male clown has had this stuff for a while. I am moving to a new tank and will be adding fish so whatever this is I don't want it spreading. Any recomendations on how to treat it?
I am moving from a 10gallon. Is it a good idea to take everything out except some of the lr and the fish and dose the tankwith the live rock? I won't be using the rock in the new tank.

Not sure what that means with Saltwater fish. When I had african cichlids, that meant they had bloat and needed meds... Yeah I know I'm not much help...

I had a yellow tang with that about a year ago. I was told soak the food in garlic drops. It worked for her. Good luck!

my maroons did that ...was told it was a upset tummy ...it went away by itself
