So I had a bunch of macroalgae that was in my refugium and some had turned white last week, I'm guessing due to no nutrients in the water column. Is the black stuff on the algae this week then the dead algae rotting? I take out what I can and shake it off into a bucket. My filter socks pull a bunch of it out as well when I can't shake the algae.
