So I set up two Brs dosers on digital timers recently. The Alk is solid at 9 but my Calcium is way high. Looks like i did the math wrong. Its 600. I figure it needs to go down. So should i just stop dosing calcium for a while till it goes down or should I slowly shave off some time off the timers?

IME, relatively, alk falls like a rock and cal falls like a feather.

You might see a slight increase in Alk as your Ca decreases...just keep an eye on the levels as you let your Ca get back in range.

I just started dosing this week too. My ca is at 550 on red sea kit. I am using Kent salt and read that Kent is usually high in Ca
