Mushroom decided to move

I have a nice sized mushroom for over a year and all of the sudden it disconnected from the glass, I was going to let him move on his own but he either gets into the Duncan's or it gets flipped upside down. Everything in the tank is doing really well so I am wondering if there is something I can do to keep him in a spot or let him run free. Super glue?

I messed up, I don't know why I said mushroom but it is actually a leather toadstool.
