Alright, Im just about caught up with everything finally, and am basically ready to sell the biocube finally. I am trying to have the custom top 100% completed by this weekend. Just have a few pieces of acrylic to cut and glue and it will be finished. The custom top is part glass, part acrylic. I made the main top piece out of glass so it wont ever curl or yellow. The glass is 1/8 double strength glass. I started making the custom top as I eventually bought an external LED light to use on it. (LED light not included as being used on the 20 I upgraded it to)
The Biocube itself is the old oceanic model. Everything on it is great besides one decent scratch in the glass. You can see it with your eye, but my camera doesnt seem to see it. I have the original bioball system for it which will be great to use in getting the tank cycled and established. I do also have the media basket filter system which is absolutely awesome to have on a turn key. It allows for better media filtration by being able to use Seachem Purigen, Chemi-Pure Elite, and filter floss materials. It will also include the Biocube protein skimmer with its air pump, a Koralia nano 240 circulation pump that has a new impeller and shaft on it, 2 different preset heaters (one is a 50watt, the other a 100watt, both presets and work great. it never exceeded 78.4, and didnt go below 77.9). I will see if I have anything else that may be able to go with it. I do have a stand that I had used for it. It is a schroll kitchen corner cabinet that I put a flat top on, trimmed, stained and poly-urethaned. I understand if you don't want the corner cabinet with it, but is actually quite nice with the amount of storage and top surface it has it has. Like I said, I'm planning on having the top finished ASAP, just still have a few other things going on as well. I just wanted to get this post up so everyone can check it and ask any questions they have. I have an asking price of $325 OBO on everything listed here for it. Let me know what you guys think, Tanks for looking!!
