I am selling my 215 Oceanic (Canopy / Tank / Stand). I moved to Colorado in April looking to get back into the Saltwater hobby and ended up traveling for my job way more than what was projected.
I bought the tank in September of 2012. I took the tank down at the guys house (so I know it holds water) and cleaned it up a little bit. There was a lot of neglect.
The canopy has 2 shock style lifters that holds the top open for easy maintenance and access to work in the tank.
It also comes with a 72" Coralife 3 - 150w halide hqi and 4 - 96 watt power compact. All the ballasts are in working order. I started braking the light down to clean up all the salt on the reflectors and still need to assemble it. The bulbs were so old I trashed them all. The algae was so thick I could not see to the back of the tank when I tore it down, I was also made aware that they had not been changed for around 24 months.
There is a piece of trim that broke off the bottom right side when the tank was being moved. It needs some finishing nails and it should be fine. Otherwise besides a few scratches its a beautiful set up.
I am asking $1300 but also open to offers. I have been in the hobby for about 8 yrs and love it to death but with traveling like I have been and still renting, my landlord understandably does not want such a monster set up. So the options are to leave it to collect dust and have to move it to the next house or find one when i can actually work on it.
