Are these the tanks that were on your shelving? If so, do you think they would make a good sump/refugium? I never ended up getting that new tank so I'll need to build a sump/ref for my 75 gallon. I'm not sure how big or small to go with. Are you home today? If so, shoot me a text, I'd like to swing by and look/talk. Thanks.

No refegium tlsrcs? What size tank is your display? My big issue is my stand. I might have to end up buying a new stand so I have more room underneath.

well one is filled to the top with LR and Macro so i call that my fuge. the second one is going to be more of a sump. I have a 55g display and a 20L frag tank. i plumbed throught a wall into my laundry room so space is not an issue. But i like the 40B alot for a sump layout i had a 50G tank for one and that lasted 2 days and i also had a 150g stock tank that lasted a month. i have been happy with the 40Bs so far

Hmm...well I can't go through any walls in my house since I live in base housing at Buckley AFB. I can maybe cut some pieces off of my stand but then I'm not sure it will hold the tank if I do that. That's why I am asking for Ambrosio's help. Every time I talk to him he seems very knowledgeable in a whole for the saltwater hobby. Plus I still need to get him so MREs...hehe.

nice. yea i am thinking you could modify your stand to accomedate the tank. not sure of the demenssions or your stand but you might just have to remove a brace to get it into the stand then you could replace the brace.

What are the dimensions of these tanks? I would like to set one up as a fuge for my 120, but i have a Red Sea C1800 skimmer which is rather bulky.

What are the dimensions of the tanks you still have? I REALLY, REALLY need something 36" X 12.5" X 14"-19". The first two measurments are the important ones, not so picky with how tall it is. I'm cycling right now and I cracked the baffles in my sump. I need to get a new sump ready before I finish my cycle. I'd rather replace the sump then drain it and redo the baffles. Please let me know.
