Another victim of my tank teardown: This was made to fit my 90 gallon but would fit any tank 48" or wider (the tubes are actually 46"). It's a pair of clear tubes with blue LED's, maybe every half inch, and they're super bright (made by lunartubes). FYI - These are made to be mounted above the water level, so don't sink them. Take a look at my ad in the frag section for the parting out of my 90g and check out the last pics that are in a dark living room with just these 2 tubes running. Has two power supplies attached so you can run both tubes for evening and then just moonlight effect for overnight (pics are with all LED's on, not just moonlights). These tubes blew away my old 10-bulb LED moons and really enhance everything when the actinics are on too. Or both tubes can stand on their own for effect in the evening when the actinics go off and set the moons part of the tubes to come on following that.
Comes with a couple acrylic mounts for attaching to your canopy or you could glue the mounts to a light fixture. I just have the tubes draped on the rim of my tank for the pics because they have yet to actually be installed since I sold my tank canopy last week and replaced with an actual T5 fixture. They are pointed at the camera in the pic so you can sort of see how many led's are in each tube, but normally you wouldn't see the bulbs as the tubes would be facing down. In the other pics, I removed them from the tank to show you how many bulbs are in each one
The tubes are hard plastic, not floppy, and they are sealed. They are a little shorter than 48" in case you are trying to squeeze them into a 48" canopy (46") and can be separated as you see in the pics in case you want the single tube with moons on the back of the tank and the double tube in the front. Please note that these lights are not for growth, purely supplemental for making corals pop. Let me know if you have any questions. $100 cash or paypal. Power supplies included. 720-220_588nine
