I've been holding on to this but it doesn't look like I'm going to get it up and running any time soon. There's A LOT to it, but here's the most important parts!
It's on Craigslist for $1200, but any MASC member can buy it for $1000. Please email me with any questions. I'll try and add some better pictures; here are a few from the beginning, with some livestock, etc.

For now, I'm not interested in parting this system out. It ran so well with everything together, and I won't have the time to try and part pieces one by one. This is a great starter size set up, or a very, very easy plug and play for the seasoned hobbyist. Looking back on the design and build, there is nothing I would change, or have done differently. The physical stand/tank/sump/plumbing was very well designed, researched and thought out, which made it very efficient. This is where I really learned the most from other forum posts, meetings, get togethers, etc. The refugium grew macros, mangroves, bred pods like crazy, cleaning crew, etc. The rock wall was my favorite part! It was covered in coralline algae, acriporas, montiporas, Palys, Xenias, etc. and DOUBLED the amount of "usable" real estate in the tank for specimens. It really looked good with corals growing out of a more naturalistic reef wall, rather that a plug holder.
If you have any questions or would like to see a picture of something specific, please let me know. To the purchaser, I'd be happy to spend some time going over set up design, maintenance, recommendations, etc. and answer any questions you might have. Thanks.

Thanks. It was a lot of fun making the stand, background and whole system; from hours and hours of calculating fluid hydraulics to get the turnover rate and flow I wanted, to sanding down to 400 grit between stains. Definitely a labor of love..
