I just wanted to share about the store "About Fish" in westminster.
I go there ALOT and the owner Mark is definitly one to please his loyal customers. Everytime I go in there hes very personable and so is his staff.
As far as prices go, He has awesome deals on fish. On any given Sunday you can place an order and it arrives on monday and you can swoop it up that day, and it only cost double what he pays.! Now although this means the fish have not yet been quarantined, those who have a qrt tank should be okay not to mention he will also hold the fish for a week for you to ensure it if youd like. If the fish comes in and you decide you dont like it or want it, He happily gives you a refund and you dont have to take it.
and if you dont order a fish, but your there when the fish are unpacked from shipment, you can still get a good "fish in a bag sale".
Hes also expanding his tanks , adding more coral tanks to his selection which is always a hit or miss on how impressive they are, however Iv bought Huge plugs of zoanthids with probably 30 to 40 heads for 14.99 and the colors were awesome!
Iv also done trade in with him for really good store credit!much more then other LFS have offered me.
Iv been in there complaining about my aptasia and algea in one of my tanks and he offers for me to buy a bunch of shrimp and such and then when they r done cleaning up my tank bringing them back for a full refund.
Its just kind things like that, that you dont see all to often, and i wanted to recognize them and spread the word of what a loyal customer means to them! Not to mention spread the word to fellow reefers on the great deals.
I have had some "not to good fish" so im not saying its the almighty of fish stores however when iv let mark know iv had bad luck with one hes always replaced it or given me a damn good deal on something else! Like i said tho, fish in bag and ordering is not quarantined BUT he will also hold it for you for a week if you prefer!
