Advice on coral color

#1
So I while ago, over a month at least, I purchased a very large piece of purple stylophora, from a store, they had 2 large pieces. It was a pretty dark color. Now over the last week (possibly longer and I didn't notice) it has been lightening in color. Now it's more of a purple/pink with the base of the polyps being orange and the tips being very white, but a healthy white. Admittedly it's really pretty, but I am worried it is going to keep going until it bleaches. I was in the store the other day and the other piece had completely bleached.

I would note that none of my other colors are showing a lightening in color, this is the only one.

I run a maspect razor, and I run the second standard set, but with reduced intensity. So my options are to reduce the intensity further, or to cut back on the time. It is on for probably 15 hours, but only about a third of it is at the days max. I can also just leave it and see what it does.

what would you suggest?

What are your parameters? Specifically, nitrate and phosphate. You need some, but not too much to have good coral color.

What kind of lights did it come from? I don't mean at the store since it might not have been there for long. What lights did it get the color under? Do you have any idea.

Lastly, has it grown? Is it encrusting? Coral can still be healthy and grow, even if the colors are a bit light.

What is your potassium level at? Potassium effects purple

My Nitrates and Phosphates are not readable with my tests, but I know phosphates are in there because I have a bit of an algae problem. Potassium is not something I typically measure, but maybe I should.

At at the store I think it was under a halide/t5 combo, it had actually been there for at least 3 months, because I had been eyeing it and watching it grow. It is growing slightly, and has begun to incrust to its new spot. Yeah the white tips are new growth, that's not really the part that bothers me.

As as for other corals, a little bit of everything, acros, montis, birds nests, zoanthids and chalices. Although one chalice does have some spots where it is bleached.

Also so more info to add, my anemone has been unhappy, and my magnesium level is over 2000 ppm because I was dosing tech m to kill bryopsis. Unfortunately the bryopsis was immediately replaced with hair algae, so I will be doing a water change today to lower magnesium.

.5 and 1 is really high. .005 is NSW and .01 is a good level to shoot for in a tank. Getting this down will help everything.
