I am looking to remove a wall in my kitchen, I would like to know if it is load bearing or not.

if i am not mistaken load bearing walls use a 4x4 or something alot thicker then just reg. 2x4s.

House was built in 62, it is a brick ranch home. The attic has what I believe are "W" trusses that are evenly spaced from East(bedrooms) to West (garage) if I remember right they are about 24" apart. I removed the drywall from one side of the wall in question. It contains 2x4 studs with a 2x4 cap top and bottom. Let me know what you need a picture of...

The wall in question is a interior wall right? If you could, draw up a picture of the house, as if the roof was off. And also show which way the roof pitches are..

Have you pulled the building plans from city/county records? I am pretty sure my plans listed that information? '78 build, but I didn't print that page and still waiting for city of aurora to get it all up on their website. I would check with local government.
