Someone purchased from them before. Here is the thread.

BTW. There have been discussions that horizontal DI units are not as effective as vertical ones. This is because the DI resin will settle and vertically the water still passes through the DI resin verses the horizontal one will have space above the resin that the water can pass through.

Thanks guys. Yea I was afraid of that saying you get what you pay for but only having a nano, I don't need a huge unit for my tank either.

I bought one of their units 6 - 7 years ago, and still have it. It works great, and I'm still on my original membrane. I believe my TDS is 4 or 5.

Should be zero.
What he said. I have heard that you should replace everything in the RO when you see TDS of 20+ But in a perfect world, you would want zero.

The point I was trying to make, after several years of usage, my TDS is still fairly low.

My bad...I wasn't implying anything in my post. Good on you for having a system that has held out so long!

I have a Kent Marine Maxxima RO/DI 4 stage that I need to sell. My TDS which is included with the sale was always 0. I have two DI Resin refills and a bunch of carbon and cotton filters as well. I replaced the membrane last year with a 50gpd. I'm putting a complete list together Friday of all my equipment, but if your in the market I will sell it for $225 for the whole thing. I can't find the stupid wrench for the containers, so you will need to purchase one of those on your own. I will be available all weekend, so PM if your interested.

asneiman, what unit did you buy? A six or five stage?
I don't know, it can be considered either 5 or 6.

It's the one with a pre-filter, 2 carbon filters, & RO membrane. From there it is split and can go through DI or another carbon filter for drinking water. I also have the drinking water kit, and tank.
