I'm board and have tomorrow off. Anyone with a good design eye and some serious rock stacking skills want to get wet and help me move some rocks around into an underwater masterpiece? Parker areas I am sure there will be some entry level DBTC corals to share.

Not really expecting anyone just throwing it out there. Hope to see ya all for my second meeting this month.

Definitely think through what look you want. Then stack carefully so it's solid. Also, stop to look at it a lot so your desired design matches the end result. I won't blow smoke up yer skirt- redoing rockwork ain't as much fun as, say... a shopping spree on someone else's money, but I have always liked the new look better than the old.

I feel for you. I spent most of Saturday building out my rockwork.

I did end up loving the overall effect, but I need to go back and do some coverage on the PVC pipe that can still be seen. It is also going to look a bit ugly until all the zipties get some growth on them.

Well worth the effort to do it right so you will not want to do it again in a month.

I have some extra acrylic rod if you decide to drill your rock and need support...

Thanks Munch? PM me on where you are at. I am heading out in a few to get a few supplies and then start. I could maybe swing by. What do you have and what are you asking for it. I have wanted to drill some rock but hear its a pain but worth it!

Thanks Everyone for the advise. Thanks to Munch for the acrylic rod - it help. It was great to see your set up. I finished up on Monday and everything seems to have survived the change. I like it and the fish seem to be happy too. ??

Here is a few shots - Thanks all - until the next re-arrange.

120? I like that big island thing. I might have to try that with my 75 somehow!
Thanks SkyDiv - nope its not a 120 - its a 75 gal. So should work out for you too. I am not a aqua-scape guru - just a hack. I drilled a large rock and inserted the Tonga at different angles. I wanted to get it up into the top of the tank to use that space. I just picked up the large piece that is ultra white. I think it will look better when it blends into the other Tonga I already have.
