Howdy yall,
A fellow marshian posted this a few minutes ago and i asked him if he would like to hear from yall, his reply was "Definitely! The more feedback the better."
His original post to MARSH:
I'm curious, for those using AquaticLog, what are some of your favorite things about the site, what do you think needs to be improved, and what features would you like to see added to the site?
There is a free version and there is a paid version for only $15/year... not much at all in the grand scheme of things. But if you are currently not paying for the premium membership, what could be added that would make the paid membership worth it to you?
Ever since joining and starting using it to log all my tanks, I've been going back and forth with the owner/developer making suggestions, helping to test new features, etc. Now I'm going to start taking even more of an active roll in the website development so any info you can give will go straight to the developer and really help in creating a better user experience.
Even if you are not currently a member of the website, I'd still be interesting in hearing any feedback if you want to take a look.
Aquatic Log
You'll also find links at the bottom of the page to the blog and facebook page if you just want to keep track of what's new.
And for those of you who have never heard of it before, I've personally found it to be a fantastic resource. Definitely check it out. You can log test results (smartphone app available, too), see graphs over time, log all your equipment, supplies, and food, log dosing, set up reminders, post pics & vids, leave/receive comments with other users, log all your inhabitants. There is even a MARSH group! Although there is a little bit of a social aspect to it, the main objective of the site is to provide an easy and engaging way to keep track of everything related to your tank in one place and make things like regular maintenance easier and a bit more fun, too.
Here's my profile so you can see what yours would look like once you really start filling it out and logging stuff day to day.
d2mini's Reeftastic Mixed Reef
So let me know! Would LOVE to get some good feedback.
This is a good chance to have your opinions heard about the site, or any changes you would like to see happen. You can post them here or PM me and ill forward them over.
Thanks
