Bad bugs??

So my nano has a ton of bugs crawling around like fleas all over the glass. This isn't similar to the copepod explosion I had several months ago. Some are red, so I was thinking red bugs. However, the only SPS I have in the tank shows no signs of the red bug issue.

I've had them for a couple weeks now and haven't thought too much of it. They haven't subsided and today my large porcelain crab is dead. Started looking closer and these bugs are crawling all over my emeralds. Is this a parasite for inverts? Just want to find out before something bad happens.

Copepods come in many shapes and forms. Some swim, some crawl, some are big some are small. Some are red some are yellow some are brown. Pictures will help.

Yeah, I've had a couple pod explosions and have dosed different types for my mandarin. I'd put pics, but most are very small and move around really fast so it would be hard to get any pics worth anything. Especially since I don't have a great camera. :( I guess it's entirely possible that the death of my porcelain was just coincidental. I also thought if they were pods, my mandarin would have wiped them out. My mandy has always kept the population down?!?

Are you going to be at the meeting tomorrow? If so can you capture some somehow and bring them to me?
CRIPES!!! I just realized this is a Saturday meeting!! One of the rare times I would be able to go since I work on Sundays, and I CAN'T!! My better half's birthday, and we have plans. :( Murphy's law....this is one meeting I would have really wanted to go to as well. Thanks, now i'm bummed. ;)

Any updates on the bugs?
Sorry I missed your post...Nope...though they don't seem to be harming anything?!? My SPS is doing awesome still with no signs of red bugs (which is what my first thought was). I'm starting to think they could be pods, since they started appearing not too long after I realized my mandarin was eating dry pellets like crazy. Maybe less interested in pods now that he is WELL fed.
