Anyone else use a homemade birdnetting top on your aquarium to keep your fish safe while allowing oxygen exchange?

I do. Used the 1/4" clear stuff from BRS though...the 1/2" stuff they sell at HD and lowes is too large to keep wrasses from leaping

kinda the pint i was getting at lol. Choose your netting wisely! I even doubled it up to make the holes smaller but as you can see...

What makes you think he didn't make it. haha, just kidding. I too have the 1/4 from BRS. So far 2 wrasses are kept in.

yeah, I use the clear stuff, too. much better than the birdnet. Sorry to hear about your scooter!
