Breaking down my tank!!
Hi all – I’ve got a 28g JBJ HQI nano that I need to break down for a few reasons. First off, I’m getting married in a few months and moving to a new city so I need to sell my corals and livestock. Second, I’ve also found a new arch-nemesis: wads of green hair algae that I just can’t shake. I’ve had two clams get eaten by whelks sold to me by accident (big problem!) which started the whole process so I've tried massive water changes, changed my bulb exposure times, changed my carbon bag, got a few turbos, a sea hare (sucked up into oblivion) and then an abalone which subsequently died after a week of uselessness. To make a long story short I have decided to sell everything including the tank and all my supplies. Here is what I’ve got – please make offers or let me know if these prices are ridiculous or something. Thanks J Brooke

Starfire monti, 2x4”, color isn't fantastic but it is growing well: $20
Cyphastrea, blue meteor shower, encrusted into two 1” balls: $30
Green slimer, ~3” high with 3 branches: $20
Cali tort: $20
Blue millepora: $10
Tricolor valida, 2-3” tall with around 12 branches, color fading a bit: $20
Birdsnest, pink with purple polyps: $10 pending
Green Formosa, ~2x3 in: $25
LPS:
Green fungia plate coral, ~2” when closed, 3” open: $40
Soft corals:
Green neon mushroom: $10
Green toadstool, 2”: $20
Green star polyps: $10 pending
Pipe organs: $10
Livestock: (Fish to go after corals and rocks are sold, but I'm happy to hold)
Misbarred perc: $5 holding for sk8now
Purple firefish: $5 holding for Yodaddy
Black combtooth blenny: $10 hoding for sk8now
Snails, crabs, other random finds: free
Live rock: make an offer when you come. I’ve got a scale…
Tank: $250 includes:
JBJ 28gallon nano tank with 150w 14K metal halide, bulb last replaced 3mos ago. Purchased from wicked demon around 2 years ago and has been going strong since then!
Self-installed dual retrofit actinics which look great in the evening, last replaced 8 mos ago
Two stock powerheads (maxijets)
