BRS Dual Reactor on a "Nano" ? Worth It?

So I am part of the BRS Group Buy this week. I am trying to determine whether or not buying a Dual Reactor for my 22g CAD AIO makes sense. I would like to run one but if it doesnt make sense I'll save the $$ and spend it elsewhere....like on a ATO

I used BRS's calculator and it shows the following for my 22g CAD!!

5 tbsp; 0.34 cups of GFO
2 tbsp; 0.14 cups of ROX Carbon


After I saw that, I realized maybe a Dual Reactor...while fairly cost effective...may be overkill for my system?

Any thoughts? I have the space, the $$ but with that tiny measurment of GFO/Carbon needed couldnt I just run another media bag? I am already running Carbon/Purigen in media bags. Let me know what you think! Thx folks --

I'd say it's worth it but I wouldn't run it all the time.

I would get the dual if you plan on going to a bigger tank, but if not the single will work just fine. I have the single BRS and run both media in it with no issue. I just use the sponge to separate the two. Plus the duel will be huge! And for a smaller tank that will be hard to hide.

Yah I'm torn as to which way to go. The Dual is big but then I'll never need to upgrade with a bigger tank. The only trouble I see with the single is that you have to change both mediums at the same time but I guess that forces diligence Ahhh...I told myself to budget but here I am considering everything and anything that will make my tank shine....$$ here $$ there $$$ over there and more $$ over there....I need reef addiction support

The new insert on the single BRS makes it so you can change them at different times. Both ends unscrew.

SOLD! Thats how I'm gonna do it then. That was my main concern. What size tank are you running this on? Sump or No sump? AIO?

I have it on my 29 biocube with no sump. I made a bracket to hang on the back of the tank using acrylic, just bought some at the depot and heated it up and bent it. AIO?

AIO - All In One - CAD 22g! I would love love love to hang it on the back of the tank but I have plenty of space for Top Off/Dosing Jugs and a Dual or Single Canister. You should sell those brackets...or least make me one ;-) Got a pic of it by chance?

You buy the acrylic and i will make it for you, you would just need to come on over. I can take a picture a little later.
