I am planning on converting my 40B freshwater tank into a saltwater tank, and I need to get a sump built. It will be a 20 gallon tank, either long or tall.

My question is, can you guys give me a build list with pictures on how to build a sump?

hhmmm.....softies for sure. i would limit sps, lps. they like T5 and halids. But let someone else chime in too as i have never ran PC lights. some of the guys with biocubes have them with sps and have no problem.

Ran 6 65w mixed 10k and actinic. Softies did great but damn near everything else faded out or zero growth. Ran those bulbs for about 6 months.

The bulbs were past due for replacement when I got em though. Ended up not rellacing them at all 6x25 per bulb, going led was a better move for me.

My thing with that is I don't have a canopy to put it in, but I suppose I could figure something out. But for now do you think pc lights would work, what do you think?
