Calcium reactor Question

I got a used Calcium reactor and I am not ready to set it up yet my question is what should I do with the Reactor Media? The Reactor Media is still good but still in tank water.

I would rinse and dry it, then reuse it when you set it up.

The reactor media is good until its pretty much dissolved.
