Ceramic frag racks ...

Gonzo and I will be introducing a new line of ceramic frag racks at reefstock. They will be similar to the ones pictures but "hopefully better" I'll keep everyone posted in the coming days with pics. We'll also have frag plugs... Josh will surely have some sweet corals e en if you have no interest in my frag crap.

Here are the sample photos for an idea of what I am working on.

Also, my wife has been calling this possible business "fish nerd frag stuff" what do you think...

I just ordered a few algae free magnets to mount inside the frag racks. They are very strong but not cheep. They will keep the price up but I think it will be worth it! I want one, that's why I started making the plugs to begin with. Most frag plugs, IMO look like crap. I hope mine look natural. The trials I have done with the racks are really cool. My students think I am a total cook!

what sizes are you going to offer? i would be interested in 3 of them if you could make them 12 in long X 5 in deep X 11 in tall with a couple different levels to place at least 10 or more frags on each on the same side.

Daniel, I am thinking of offering three sizes. The smallest will hold 6 to 10 frags, with the largest holding around 20 frags and being about the size you are describing with 2 levels.

how much do you charge for the chalice domes?

I have 2 types. One that incorporates a plug and another that is a large dome. Both are about 3". We are doing 2 packs of them. With the plugs the 2 pack is $10 and the others are $5. I'll take some pics when I get to work.
