Im surprised nobody in that entire thread metioned how completely oversaturated that pic was. I mean most of his pictures are just crazy photochopped but that just seemed to me that hes not even trying to hide it (maybe that was the point?). Why would not a single person ask for a picture where the egg crate didnt look like something from an extreme acid trip?

Im sure it was a cool nem but why not also post a picture under some realistic lighting?

Oh, and the most obvious reason... if you post that under natural lighting, you see that is a $300-350 haddoni that you can get fairly regularly if you can cherry pick or have a good relationship with the wholesaler. So, $1200 is better than $300, right?

I think it has more to do with R2R. I remember a thread where a vendor there was called out for saturated pictures by numerous people and every post was deleted. IMO R2R is a business that serves the vendors, not a business that serves the community (which makes sense since vendors pay the bills there). Personally I think R2R is plagued with saturated pictures, one of the only vendors there that render true pictures is Gonz.
