moved a tank last night and filled it up with 100% new saltwater that I mixed from Salinity salt. The water is still cloudy and the new saltwater has been mixing for over 24 hours. Any ideas why? I moved and filled a different tank in the same way wed night and it was clear. Seems like there is a film all over the rocks this morning. Seems as though some of the **** in the water settled out over night. Will this film hurt my LR or corals?

Sounds like you're just experience a bacteria bloom in the water column after stirring things up in the move. You should be able to get it under control by blowing off the rocks and regular water changes. I can't comment on what risk it poses to your corals....but I'd check your levels in case you're in the midst of a short mini-cycle, which is definitely a possibility if the sandbed was disturbed in the move.

FWIW...purigen has always done a great job at clearing these blooms up when I've had this happen in the past with my freshwater setups after rescaping.
