Any college football fans here? I know it's been a long time for colorado. As a life long Buckeye fan I am super stoked how well they have played! Regardless if you like either of the teams the championship should be really exciting if you like scoring.

Missouri Alum here and a huge college football fan. It doesn't hurt that Missouri has been good at Football lately. :) Chalk me up for one of the people who like Saturday football more than Sunday.

I find it funny that CU has won a championship pretty recently (in most of our lifetimes), weed is legal, the gals at CU are good looking, the weather is great and the mountains are nearby and they have a hard time getting players. Let me state again that weed is legal - this is a big deal to most players. Amazing incompetence at that school IMO. They were my second favorite Big 8 team back in the day and BY FAR our favorite road trip to Folsom Field.

I do like it that two northern schools are playing for a championship - it gives everybody outside of the gulf coast, Texas and Cali some home. Oregon getting it's first title vs tOSU going for it's first legit title since 1970 (I, and the rest of the nation outside of Ohio, don't count 2002 with the horrible call). :) It should be lots of fun.

It might be difficult to tell from my username; who my College Team/Hometown is!

Hope it's a repeat of the 2010 Rose Bowl - In fact I believe The Buckeyes have beat the ducks every match-up.

Go Bucks; O-H...

I am completely with you, college is much better to watch. I could talk about college football over reefs. In fact I am passing on my Broncos tickets to go to Dallas on Saturday. The last thing I would expect any airline to get me there on time.
I cant believe you are trying to convince anyone that was a bad call, c'mon man!! If you wanted to argue that they won because they turned Mcgahees knee to jello thats a different story.;)
The only thing I can figure is CU just dont give a damn for football. Maybe they need to update some facilities and spend some money. Maybe its the fact that the locals/students dont fill the stadium as it is. But I agree there is NO reason that they should not be putting a respectable team on the field. I would make a point of going if they did.
@Munch-I dont believe you will find anyone willing to take the ducks.
Go BUCKS

LOL....everyone is picking the ducks. But everyone picked Wisconsin and Alabama. I would bet corals if I lived in Denver but I dont bet either. No one is disputing the duck will be facing the best defense yet. This is going to be a crazy game and I hope the tOSU comes out on top. Which ever defense can make a handful of stops probably wins. No doubt oregon has a lot of fast skilled players with a multiple oppositions for mariota.

I don't think that this game compares at all to either FSU or Alabama. Oregon has a real, legit Franchise type QB and good offense coaching. Numbers on MM show him as Top 5 in the last 20 years along with guys like Luck, Mannings (both) and Rivers. He is the real deal and this is not some redshirt senior that sat behind a guy who could not even make a NFL practice squad. On the other hand, while FSU has speed and athletes, they don't look nearly as well coached as Tosu does on D. Urban can flat out coach it. Both teams are going to have to do something different.

Meyer pointed out that these coaches talk and both are good. The systems are just variations of each other. The only way tOSU has a chance IMO is line play. They have to be able to pressure Mariota and keep outside leverage. The ducks are quick and the best in open field. But the absolute given is the Buckeyes will put the best damn band on the field.

Well there is no need to beat the dead horse. Jerry's house is everything you could ever dream of, great venue. The Buckeye Nation definitely showed up. Everywhere we went it was dominated by the Scarlet and Gray. And lets not pass over that most of this team are sophomores and the early favorites for next year. The weather was the only disappointment but we what can we do.

GO BUCK!!
O-H!!

Ohio is going to run roughshod over the B1G for a while It won't even be close since Tosu backups have more speed and strength than other teams starters. It will be better for the league if it is not a 1 horse race, but Harbaugh better strap in if he actually wants to rebuilt Michigan because he is going to get owned for a while. Urban will get bored and leave some day, and the boosters will start to do stupid things again, but it will be a good next little stretch for them.

Of course I want to see tOSU dominate in the win column. But I really hope the rest of the division can elevate their game too. I would much rather watch a competitive match than all blowouts. There is no doubt it will take Harbaugh a few years to get the right players for his system. I just hope it doesnt take so long that Meyer has retired. In this day and age I would agree Meyer probably wont stick around for 10+ years. But I dont see him going to the NFL, just dont appear to be a good fit. And I cant imagine he would leave for any other college. Unfortunately boosters are a problem for every major program. Hopefully they are just smarter this time and dont cost him his job. Really sucks college football is over!
