I came home a few days ago to find my birds nest looking very poor with bleached spots with no polyps. Today I came home to find my candy apple reds colony of about ten gone.... just fricken gone. So I pulled up a chair and watched the tank for about two hours and four d my culprit. My large damsel is eating the birds nest and I assume is the instigator for the zoas. I need an actual trap to catch these guys as they seem to be pretty tricky, there is no way of removing the rock work. Pls lmk what you have 303-718-3484

If you know where it sleeps, you could try catching several hours after lights off, make sure total darkness before you try. Then, blast on the lights, goose it out of its sleeping area (or wait for it to wander out in a daze, as will all the other fish). Works like a charm for me on fish of all sizes and speeds. I use the end of a zip line affixed to a long apparatus (eggcrate, clasper etc) to goose.
