Just found out we are going to be going to Daytona Beach, FL, next year for a small vacation getaway. Was seeking info from anyone about what I would need to do to collect mangroves, corals, etc., or if this was even allowed. I searched online with limited success. Thanks!

Not much at Daytona too far north
Anything south you'd recommend? Also interested in any LFS that would be recommended to visit.

WWC in Orlando.

Daytona's surf is one reason but if you go down toward Melbourne you will start to see some things. I believe the collecting permit is $35 or $45 dollars. However it has been a few years so you may ant to double check.

Just need a standard fishing license for private collecting, make sure you check the rules and to really get into stuff you need to get down to around Palm Beach area though Melbourne may have some stuff, depending on the time of the year.
