Did I kill my frogspawn?

So I.came home yesterday and found my favorite coral missing..I did a water change the day before and everything seemed fine then boom come home and find it gone? Do cleaner shrimp eat corals?

They will sometimes pick at decaying corals. I've had peppermints go after some healthy lps and softies before...but never cleaner shrimp.

I can't answer what happened in your case. But if parameters are good....

i have had sexy shrimp eat heads off my lps before.

Might be interested now. There are lots of reports on reef central of coral beautys being model citizens for years and then picking up a taste for lps when they get hungry one day.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life, and you can PROVE it mathematically.

My experience is when frogspawn heads die they go fast. Luckily my colony has about 50 heads so missing one head is barely noticeable.

Frogspawn have strong stings so I'd be surprised to see an angel go after it.
