Do you keep old zoa plugs?

About 4 months ago I lost nearly 15 Zoa colonies to a algae that covered the plugs and got everywhere. I kept the plugs on a rack as each had a small small piece of Zoa mat on them. Very tiny, miniscule.
The following have since recovered, kept the plugs and within 4 months I have as many as I lost:

These are still recovering but had no polyps/mat till last week:

It takes more computing power to do 1 search of Google than it did to send Apollo 11 to the moon.

That's awesome! Makes me regret tossing the one piece of rubble I had that had some zoas on it that got smothered in algae.

I do that with most of the corals that I have. If something does off I always keep the plug in the tank and I've had multiple corals including sps grow back. I have a whole colony of tri color valida that I lost over a year ago.
