Looking for recommendations on where to go to get my tank drilled. I'm not sure I want to do it myself. Any suggestions? Thanks.

That's really nice of you. I'm just worried about cracking the tank and making sure I do it right. I'll take a look at doing it myself though. Is that bulkreefsupply.com? I'm in Golden.

Somebody at reef stock who seemed very knowledgeable told me I was really brave to try drilling the tank myself. It kinda freaked me out. Don't really want to break the tank.

Just don't drill the bottom, that'll crack. I have drilled many holes with no issues. Just go slow, don't push/ let the weight of the drill and your arm do the work. The brs video is pretty good. Lots of good demos on you tube. Really. You'll be fine.

+100 just make sure you use a new bit, a second person keeping a steady supply of water on the bit and glass and then lastly MAKE SURE ITS NOT TEMPERED!!!

Other than that its easy peasy :D

I used plumbers putty to make a circle around the hole to hold water so you can do it on your own.

Masking tape on the underside of the projected hole. This will stop it from falling. LOL
