Have to say that, even with all the concerns that go with this hobby, it is still relaxing to just clean the tank and then sit back and enjoy the view.
+1 I love having the family watching a movie or something and to do a water change while talking and joking with the kids. I think they love it too. At least me talking to them! Lol
+1 I get to spend my mornings dropping in some food then sitting back with a cup of coffee for a half hour or so just watching all of the vibrant life.
I have to say it is a great way to drop the blood pressure, mine was over the top after my dad died and the tank helped immensely. Had a great time adding new corals today, symposium and purple digitalis. Did a bit of re-arranging and the yellow tang tried to get me, how rude since I feed her.
Agreed. I never get enough of just sitting back and enjoying life inside the glass box. We even set my 3 week old daughter down in front of the tank when she is fussy and she gets quiet almost immediately and watches the fish swim back and forth. Fun for all ages!!
