Well, due to life, work, family, etc. We are moving to Florida this summer. We would like to sell this as one complete set up asking $4,000. Includes all coral, fish, equipment, controllers, ATO buckets, display tank, sump, etc I mean EVERYTHING. If it doesn't sell as a whole system, will consider parting out at later. It's about a year and a half old. We've taken a lot of pride in this tank, a lot of planning and time and love has gone into it. It is something we thought we would have for 10 or more years. Selling it so soon is a very sad necessity. I really wanted to see what this reef could be. I also wasn't planning on leaving Colorado for a long time, but life happens. For more photos or questions, PM me. Buyer is responsible for moving and setting up at new location. My husband can help tear it down and load up. I just had a baby, so I'll be caring for her and my two year old. We'll try to be as much use and provide as much help as we can and we can coordinate later.

FTS 9/8/2015

WHOLE DISPLAY:

TOTALLY OPEN:

ALL THREE PANELS ARE COMPLETELY REMOVABLE. ATO, DOS, AND BATTERY BACKUP ARE HOUSED IN THE BOOKCASE

CLOSE UP OF SUMP:

SUMP OVERHEAD WITH SECURITY CAMERA AND POWERSTRIP:

DISPLAY CAMERA AND VORTECH AND APEX CONTROLS:

ELECTRICAL MOUNTING BOARD:

INSIDE THE BOOKCASE:

On the top shelf is the UPS for the wireless adapter for the Apex and EB8 as well as the battery back up for the vortech pumps.
The second shelf houses the TOM aqualifter pump for the ATO and the DOS as well as various aquarium supplies.
The third shelf houses two 5 gallon ATO reservoirs (you can see the tubing running from the front, up the back and between the shelf to the pump) and BRS slim 1 gallon jugs for Seachem's Part 1 and 2 for the DOS. The tubing for all of these the run out a back hole in the bookcase, behind the stand and to the sump.

The bookcases are IKEA Billy bookcases and with the doors, they work phenomenally for housing excess equipment.
Our main goals for this tank was:
Maximum automation to reduce workload on us and sitters since we travel
Maximum security against losing stock due to power failures (our area has a lot for some reason)
Look like a piece of furniture instead a gathering of equipment

FISH PHOTOS:
YELLOW SIDED FAIRY WRASSE

SCRIBBLED RABBITFISH

and the only photos I can find of the clown are waaaaaay back when I first got her (she is coming up on 2 years)

VIDEO TAKEN IN JULY (SOME LIVESTOCK CHANGES HAVE HAPPENED SINCE THEN, PLEASE REFER TO ABOVE LIST FOR CURRENT INHABITANTS, THE BTA IN THE VIDEO IS THE ONE THAT HAS SPLIT)

Wow, a lot of impressive equipment. Sorry to hear you have to sell it all after only such a short time. Will be watching closely...if you ever decide to start parting it out, there are many items I am interested in.

Okay guys, in a weird twist of fate, both the baby and the toddler slept in today so I was able to work in the tank and get some current photos:

OK, so this is suppose to be the Tubbs Blue Mille. I am not sure I buy that. I have been trying to get color back into this thing FOREVER and its a hella slow grower. The color is definitely more blue than when I got it, it was pretty much just brown when I first acquired it. So maybe it is? I don't know.

The poor shape coral you see in the background is my starburst monti. The tank is recovering from a bout of neglect. I'm the primary care taker of the tank and I was sick during the last part of my pregnancy and then had the baby. something happened to it. All the other corals never did what it did. It's on the path to recovery. My husband wanted to pull it, but its one of my favorites. Its a good thing I didn't let him since its starting to healing. I think it was the result of the skimmer being full and therefore not being efficient compounded with some tricksy snails and sand covering it for a few days and no one noticing since all tests were normal and no other corals seemed affected.

If you part I will take the entire apex system.

I understand you would have to get ride of live stock first and if you do part out I will wait for the entire apex setup as a whole.

I'd be interested in the katropora, miyagi and the two cameras if you decide to part them out.
